What is Tai Chi? - The Tai Chi we teach is a gentle Chinese form of exercise.
Is Tai Chi for YOU? - YES. Tai Chi can work for everybody, no matter what your ability or age.
What are the benefits? - Tai Chi is used to help benefit your health in many different ways. The exercises used will help with mobility and flexibility. You will be able to gain in balance and posture, Co- ordination and circulation will also be greatly improved. Tai Chi may also help to reduce every day stress.
Am I fit enough? - Tai Chi is taught to enable you to be come healthier and fitter no matter what your abilities are at the moment.
Is it too strenuous? - NO tai Chi is taught slowly and at a pace that works best for you. We even have students who do some exercises sitting down.
How will I be taught? - Classes are taught by demonstration, detailed instructions and of course by practicing. Repetition is a good way of remembering the moves and also working together with other students.
How will I know if I'm progressing? - As you progress you will find that you need less prompting. You should also feel benefits in your health.
What do I wear? - Loose comfortable clothes and flat shoes are best for practicing Tai Chi, mules are not recommended.

How much will it cost me? Costs vary depending on college / authority funding. But no class costs more than £5.
